By default, we keep dembrane.com cookie-free. We use PostHog (our analytics tool, hosted in the European Union) to measure basic website usage, but until you click "Accept" this runs without any cookies. To count the pages you open as one visit rather than several, we keep a short-lived identifier in your browser's session storage. Your browser clears it when you close the tab, so nothing follows you between visits, and there is no session recording.

If you accept, we switch on two things to help us improve the site:

ph_…_posthog (first-party analytics cookie): stores a randomly generated identifier so we can recognise your device between visits and understand how people use the site. The cookie holds no name or contact details, and it's kept for 12 months at most.
Session recording: PostHog captures how pages are used (clicks and navigation; anything you type is masked) so we can see where things could work better.

We don't use advertising or marketing cookies, and we don't sell your data.

We remember your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't have to ask again on every visit. If you accept, your choice stays until you withdraw it; if you decline, we'll ask again after about a month. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Change cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.
